He can write from ANY viewpoint.<br \/>\n<LI><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crankymonkeybutt.com\/snip\/archives\/2008\/05\/fiction_the_mon.html\">The Monsters of Templeton, by Lauren Groff <\/a><\/strong>An excellent first novel.<br \/>\n<LI><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crankymonkeybutt.com\/snip\/archives\/2008\/07\/fiction_lush_li.html\">Lush Life, by Richard Price <\/a><\/strong>This guy can write dialogue like no one else.<br \/>\n<LI><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crankymonkeybutt.com\/snip\/archives\/2008\/07\/short_stories_d.html\">Dark Roots, by Cate Kennedy <\/a><\/strong>(stories) Another Aussie. Succinct but intense.<br \/>\n<LI><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crankymonkeybutt.com\/snip\/archives\/2008\/08\/mysteryfiction_1.html\">The Likeness, by Tana French<\/a> <\/strong>Follow-up to one of my favorite books from last year.  So.Good.<br \/>\n<LI><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crankymonkeybutt.com\/snip\/archives\/2008\/10\/short_stories_d_1.html\">Dead Boys, by Richard Lange <\/a><\/strong>(stories) Engaging, unexpected and truly original.<br \/>\n<LI><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crankymonkeybutt.com\/snip\/archives\/2008\/10\/fiction_iodine.html\">Iodine, by Haven Kimmel <\/a><\/strong>Possibly her least accessible book. Dark.<br \/>\n<LI><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crankymonkeybutt.com\/snip\/archives\/2008\/12\/fictionmystery.html\">The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, by Stieg Larsson <\/a><\/strong>Spooky pasts. Dark and twisted.<br \/>\n<LI><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crankymonkeybutt.com\/snip\/archives\/2009\/02\/fantasy_tender.html\">Tender Morsels, by Margo Langan <\/a><\/strong>So good.
