[From a book I ultimately didn&#8217;t love but does have some nice writing.]  Doesn&#8217;t seem like it was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crankymonkeybutt.com\/snip\/archives\/2007\/04\/fiction_the_pos.html\">two years ago I read this <\/a>but there you go.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, here&#8217;s another:<br \/>\n<em>Falling in love isn&#8217;t something that you decide to do, anymore than you decide on the weather. Nobody can tell you you&#8217;re in love, you just know it, through and through.
